Easy Crochet Owl Amigurumi Pattern — Advanced Beginner, One Evening Project, 4" Finished

The Roly Poly Owl is a small, round, sit-up-on-his-own amigurumi owl worked in worsted weight yarn — chocolate brown wings and ear tufts, oversized white eye discs, and a tiny orange beak. He finishes at roughly 4" wide by 4" high, which makes him a true one-evening make and an ideal first amigurumi.

Three stitches, honestly. Chain, single crochet, and increases and decreases in the round. There are no color changes mid-round, no post stitches, and no bobbles. He's rated advanced beginner rather than beginner for one reason: the body shaping. Every round of that shaping is photographed step by step, so "advanced beginner" here means you'll learn something, not you'll get stuck.
